Principles and Purpose of Processing
We take pride in processing your personal data in a lawful manner. As Vidego; we make sure to collect only the personal data absolutely required for the appropriate purpose, strictly limit data processing for only legitimate purposes and ensure appropriate security for the data, including protection against unauthorized or unlawful processing. Any data is only retained while necessary and is deleted once the legitimate purpose for which it was collected has been fulfilled. We believe in complete transparency when it comes to processing. This Policy shows all the legitimate purposes for processing and the kind of data that's processed.
What Personal Data Do We Collect and How We Collect Them?
We designed our Application to use the minimum amount of user information or device information needed for us to provide our users with an excellent experience. We are not profiling you without your knowledge. Our Applications do anonymously collect usage metrics from presentation sessions (e.g., accuracy statistics and error-rates). The information is in such form that ensures that no personal information (like who is speaking) can be gleaned from it. All speech recognition is accomplished locally, on-the-device, it is not processed by an external server or our server, and thus your vocalizations or visualization inside of our Apps will not be transmitted via the internet unless you expressly publish content.
All of the user-generated content loaded into Vidego remains on the device and is not accessible by us. The hosting service we use is through Amazon Web Services. At all phases of our business, we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Among the types of personal data that this Application collects, by itself or through third parties there are: usage data, cookies; unique device identifiers, user id, camera permission (Used for accessing the camera or capturing images and video from the device locally), microphone permission (Allows accessing and recording microphone audio from the User's device locally), purchase history. Personal Data may be freely provided by the User, or in case of Usage Data, collected automatically when using this Application. Unless specified otherwise, all Data requested by this Application is mandatory and failure to provide this Data may make it impossible for this Application to provide its services.
Any use of Cookies, or of other tracking tools, by this Application or by the owners of third-party services used by this Application serves the purpose of providing the Service required by the User, in addition to any other purposes described in the present document and in the Cookie Policy, if available
